Morgan Stanley Sophomore Summer Analyst
Anyone heard anything about the Morgan Stanley sophomore summer internships? I have heard they don't touch these apps until after junior internships are filled but wasn't sure.
I applied right when apps opened, received the hirevue like 48 hours later and did it (almost certain everyone gets the hirevue as long as they are eligible in school year and work status), haven’t received anything at all since like every other one of my sophomore apps
What division did you apply too? Could you tell me the questions that were asked?
I applied to this position back in July and just received a phone interview two days ago for Bank Resource Management. Has anyone else heard anything?
Received a hirevue for equity research and intitutional equity. I immeditely got rejected from equity research (idk if it is because it was not good enough or they ran out of spots). Institutional equity my hirevue is still being reviewed

Is the deadline for this program really March 1st? I think in previous years, it was earlier right? Also, does it close when they receive enough applications, b/c the fixed income summer program (for juniors) is already closed. thanks!

for jpm, they don[t look at resumes till after the deadline which is feb 4th at my school. depends on what the deadline is at ur school. goldenknight, did u apply to MS yet?
does anyone know if morgan stanley looks at resumes all after the deadline or do they do it as they receive them?

Could you ask your friend how the superday was structured? What kind of questions did they ask?
Had a phone screening two weeks ago and have a superday for it tomorrow.

Hi guys, I applied around early November and when I logged into my portal it says my application is still being reviewed. Should I assume I'm not going to hear back from MS at this point?
Mine says the same...I wouldn't assume it's completely over yet. But I definitely think time is running out...

I'm a sophomore and I applied for the rotational program online 3 days ago. Is that too late?
Patiently waiting as well. I really don't care too much about the IB one, I'd be content getting the market risk one position, just to have something to put on the resume.
deadline was december 15th for all three i asked hr before. if it didnt get updated on the site its to dick around with people who don't know. sorry bud. (unless youre at a target and did a resume drop too its probs no luck)
They just laid off a crapload of people from their NYC offices over the last few days which may have slowed down their recruiting processes by a week or so

For targets, they recruit on campus.
Final rds are still going on for the target kids. Since you go to a non-target, expect to hear from them after they finish that process. Mind you, the program is quite small.
The sophomore rotational program is extremely competitive. I have contacts at the firm and they all told me that non-targets are not being looked at due to the credit crunch. Did you apply to the JPM Honors program or Lehman's START program?

Yeah, but the rejection email comes way after the class is filled.
