MSc Finance at IE vs Warwick vs LSE vs Singapore Management University vs Rochester Simon vs WashU Olin

Hey guys! So my main and sole target is to get into IB M&A at a BB in either London or NYC (I'm an Indian student). I have 3 months of internship experience at a boutique bank in India. In India, it is very difficult to break into the bulge bracket IBs without a masters degree. Even their interns are generally pursuing MBAs from top tier institutions. I have a 710 GMAT but a slightly low undergrad because I was playing sport full time. I have offers from IE (MIF) and Warwick and SMU. I have heard good things about IE academics but I've heard not so good things about their career centre. Being an international student who wants to work in Europe (London) I feel like the career centre would play an integral part in helping me find the right fit after placement + I am not sure if it's a bb target school (for an international student) and hence I'm not sure about IE (they do have optional trips and an exchange program with LBS, do you think that helps?). I got into the Singapore Management University's MSc Quant Finance program. The program has an option of a semester exchange with Cass Business School in London and I thought that would be a good opportunity to network in London. I also have Warwick but I am not sure if its a target school for Bulge brackets. I am waiting to hear from LSE.

In the US, I have offers from Simon, Olin and D'Amore McKim (all STEM degrees) but I know that these aren't target schools so I haven't given it much thought.

Any insights or inputs to help simplify things for me would be appreciated. Also, do you guys think the whole Covid-19 situation could affect things in any way?

Thanks!

haven’t heard back from LSE yet. what about Warwick? also do you think considering the current CoVid situation it would be better for me to get some more work ex under my belt and improve my GMAT score (I feel I have another 30 points in me) and then apply again next year to target schools?

Well, I really don’t know. covid-19 is far less severe than the measures against it. I would be way more concerned about how long schools are going to be tied to governmental restrictions of movement than of the virus itself. So about work experience or the GMAT, just ensure you’re going to be able to do the GMAT or move to the job location. Cause as I said, virus is twisting everyone’s plan, including mine.
