Shiptracker Analyst in Oil Industry
A position has come open to join our European distillate team in London as a shiptracker analyst. Role responsibility is to track all ships carrying distillate (diesel, gasoil and jet fuel) across key routes as identified by the team in order to contribute to the global distillate supply and demand analysis. A strong analytical capability and attention to detail are essential, strong computing skills with knowledge of databases, python, VBA and softwares such as Tableau are preferable. This role would be suited to someone who is keen to learn the fundamental market drivers of oil and has a numerate/analytical/coding education and interest, with 0 to 2 years of post-graduation work experience. We are a Commodities trading company with offices in Europe, US and Asia and the role is within one of the petroleum products' teams.
