Non-US PE/VC recruiting
I searched the threads but couldn't find anything recent.
Does anyone have a list of headhunters that recruit for non-US PE/VC roles at the Associate to VP level? I know that VC firms are informal but some large ones do use recruiters IME. My firm does not have international offices.
I am currently in NYC but want to work abroad. Due to the language requirements, I am thinking London, Australia, SE Asia (Singapore or HK), or LatAm (would I qualify?). Also, any tips on how to justify to headhunters or when networking or anything else to look for?
I know that the finance industry isn't as open to international hiring as other industries but I would assume COVID has changed that to some degree.
I had good luck with Walker Hamill in London. There is a recruiter there named Guy who is very good. As far as recruiters go he is relatively transparent and honest.
