Odds for MM Healthcare PE from a Top MM IB

I'll be working at a top MM (HL, WB, Piper) next summer in the healthcare group, and want to do MM PE at a healthcare-focused fund. Do I have a shot? And are there any good funds that are open to MM analysts?

I’m just an intern as well so take what I say with a grain of salt, but based on profiles of people I’ve seen that make it into mm healthcare pe as long as u go to a decent school, have a strong GPA and perform well during your analyst stint you should be able to land somewhere pretty good.

I would say demonstrating a strong interest in healthcare and developing some domain knowledge and ideas about the industry could help you standout.

Adding on to this. You could definitely lateral to a BB or healthcare focused boutique from one of those MM shops as well.

Thanks, I go to a semi target, have a 3.9 GPA, and aren't holding onto unrealistic hopes of MF. Really interested in MM Funds and was just wondering if analysts from a firm like Piper or Blair HC could make it in. Thanks!
