PE Co-Investment Associate Compensation

I've seen a lot of topics on compensation for direct investing private equity but was wondering what the comparable compensation may be for a co-investing associate role (investing in projects/companies at the LP level, not FoF). I've been asked to interview at one such firm and was wondering if I should be setting expectations in the somewhat standard $120 + 75-100% range or lower? Also, does gaining co-investment experience increase the chances of ultimately ending up in a direct investing PE group, or is this a very uncommon route?
