(Photos included) Are these suits acceptable to wear in a BB?

Just need some advice on whether suits with these sort of patterns are acceptable to wear or are they a no-no?

The patterns are quite subtle but I'm not sure if they'll be seen as too 'fashionable' and not business-like.

If it makes any difference this is for a soon to be 1st year analyst.

All advice would be much appreciated!

I don't think you should wear plaid as a first-year analyst. Not even subtle plaid.

A bit too slimfitting IMO, but that's just personal preference. Plaid is fine as a a first year. All this fashion shit is overplayed on these boards. Tons of analysts wear french cuffs, fancy ties, plaid/pinstripe suits, etc. it's not a big deal. that said, don't go for the contrasting collar/shirt combo ("MD shirt") or suspenders. that is actually over the top
