Post Bloomberg Internship Super Day Interview?
Bloomberg Global Data Internship Interview Process:
Round 1 - Pre-Recorded Video Responses: Passed (notified 3 days later)
Round 2 - 30 Minute Video Interview: Passed (notified 2 hours later)
Round 3 - Super Day: Passed ( notified 2 days later)
Round 4 - 30 Minute Final Video Interview: TBD
It's been 3 days, when should I hear back/ has anybody been through this process yet???
I interviewed for the Bloomberg Data & Analytics position back in Oct/Nov 2017. I went through the same 3 rounds as you. After the super day I sent thank you emails and did not hear anything for 2 weeks until I finally got a rejection notice. I would just sit tight and hope for the best. For my super day there upwards of 40 candidates being interviewed so it takes time.

I don't know when you should hear back (I'd say within 1.5 weeks). Out of curiosity, what drives you to work in Global Data.
Global Data is just the coolest thing to me, I have a major background in economics as well as calc and stats and really enjoy building things from scratch. Plus, it helps you learn computer languages such as python in order to leverage against having a future bank choose a computer over you
I interviewed in the winter in early 2017 for my sophomore summer, and went through much the same process for Bloomberg Intelligence. I had a call after the superday, and was actually rejected afterwards. There were two others from my school at the superday, but they were rejected before the post-superday call. Very strange protocol, and it sort of felt like I was getting my hopes up. Best of luck to you! Hope it works out. I believe they should be in touch shortly, I remember there being a one week grace period.
I can't imagine not getting it after interviewing again after the superday. as if making it past the superday wasn't stressful enough.
Oh yeah, absolutely. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone in the world. I hope things go well for you -- definitely treat that last call like a real interview.
How long after the superday did you hear back to schedule the final video interview? I had my superday last Wednesday and was notified the following Thursday evening that I had passed. I sent my availability for a video interview on Friday morning, and haven't heard back yet. I'm stressing out over this!
Don’t stress at all, I was losing sleep, they’re going to get back to you on what day and time it’s scheduled for sometime this week. After Super Day Wednesday I heard back on Friday and had scheduled an appointment that was confirmed by Sunday for that Tuesday. After that video interview it took me over 2 weeks to hear back and get my offer. My rationale is that if you’ve made it this far, treat the interview like the first video interview, and you’ll get the call. Be confident and while you’ll definitley lose sleep and stress while waiting to hear back know that you’ve been a strong candidate up to this point, you’ll do fine. Good luck, I wish you the best!
