Private Equity distribution/cap formation/relationship mgmt. Help me get it?
How do the sales and distribution efforts work in private equity? As far as I know there are sales teams and wholesalers for private equity** funds **and that third party distributors / fundraisers exist such as Eaton Partners, etc. I don't know much more than that and am curious to learn about the various roles and comp structures if possible. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
