these can go a lot of different ways. if you get to this stage your technical skills and intelligence have been throughly vetted. this is much more of a personality test to see if you fit in. just be yourself. I did one process for associate, and one when I lateralled and got questions like: what is the best book you read this year (answer doesn't need to be finance), where do you see yourself in 5-10 years, what was your favorite / least favorite part of your last job? how would you rate your performance at your current job?

at this stage, partners want introspective and honest people. if they ask you about weaknesses / feedback, be honest (this is my weakness, this is how i am working to fix it)

I had a last round interview with an MD recently, although it was for an internship and not a full-time job.

It was overall way less structured than the previous rounds I had with the firm, and was geared more towards the personality/sanity check side.

By far the easier and most comfortable interview I had, which was ironic since I expected it to be the toughest.

As mentioned its a fitness test. Would they want to spend time stuck at a airport with you? hell would you want to spend time at the airport with someone like you? If the answer is no this is what you need to address.
