Private Equity is not necessarily seeking CFAs, individuals with prior experience!
XYZ Capital is an investment fund deploying capital across multiple sectors in frontier markets. Currently XYZ's MGL office is inviting individuals to join its local investment team. XYZ is not necessarily seeking CFAs, individuals with prior finance experience or business degrees. Rather, the company is looking for highly motivated individuals who have the ability to think outside the box, analyse information in a creative way and challenge conventional thinking. Assessments and hiring decisions will be based on a set of logic reasoning questions which will be set out in plain English. Anyone with a sharp mind has the ability to pass and be hired.
If you are selected, the training will be rigorous and the hours will be long, but if you wish to pursue an opportunity in finance and have the determination and work ethic to learn please send your CV to: [email protected].
?????? ????????
Start Date: Immediately, minimum 1 year commitment
Hours: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm on weekdays
What kind of questions should I expect?
hours seem killer..
Screw that. Any job that makes you come in before noon and doesn't let you out at 5 means no work/life balance.
Does it mean that they were kidding and also Analyst should work in weekends?
I lol'd at "the hours will be long" and "Hours: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm on weekdays"
To be somewhat productive, I'd expect the same kind of questions out of this interview as any PE interview.
Also, are they talking CV as a one page resume? Any recommendation on or idea for cover letter?
I'm second year actuary, with GPA 3.2, no prior IB or PE experience(in previous post detailed info).
Yes. I just saw a no box when I entered to the office first time but open-office. Then I realized why I had to think outside the box.
