What do you think are my chance of getting in? Any detailed response is appreciated.
What are my weak points and strong ones?
I think there's a lot to like here...you don't say what your actual GPA is but if "high marks" means really high, that's great. The 710 is maybe a bit lower than I'd like to see from a guy in finance but what I like is that you've put together a nice broad portfolio of schools. And you're Italian and we know that some schools in the US have a seen a dip in European applicants. If you go for CBS, try Early Decision. Of the schools you list, that I think will be one of the toughest for you, along with Haas, Yale, and MIT. I have a feeling you will do well at NYU, Ross, Johnson, and UCLA. For the European schools, LBS might be a little tough given the 710 but I think it really could go either way. Between now and application time, maybe ramp up your extracurriculars with the charity organization along with any corporate social responsibility projects at your day job. Hope that helps! Krista
You have a pretty impressive profile, so i suggest you look into HEC Paris and St Gallen as well. Both have one of the top MBA programs in the world.
I'd like to know a little more about what you accomplished in your work and in the int'l charity organization, but assuming that you have achievements in both areas, you would be competitive at the European schools on your list.
Your GMAT is a little low for investment bankers at MIT, CBS, Haas, and NYU Stern. However, most of these program have seen a reduction in European applicants and your are still clearly qualified so you still have a chances. your best chances of acceptance in the U.S. are Ross, Johnson and UCLA, but you also have a shot at the others.
If you can boost your GMAT to 730 you'd be a solid candidate for virtually all of the schools you listed
