Put GRE general test score on resume or not?

Hi All:
I just finished my second year of bachelor, wanna apply for a FO summer analyst internship hopefully in any of the BBs in APAC. I am preparing GRE general test recently. If fortunately I get a good result in GRE, should I put it on my resume for the application of next year's internship or not?

If put it on, it could partially illustrate my analytical skills and so on. However, will the HR feel like I'm gonna go to graduate school after graduation anyway so disregard my application? Since I was told that for year 3 summer analyst program the banks prefer those who wanna start career right away after graduation. Anyway I will prepare the test with all my effort, but I'll really appreciate it if seniors here could give me some of your opinions. Thank U very much :) !

I think you are over analysing. There is a higher probability that HR will miss your resume (simply because there are too many applicants) rather than think that you are not in the company for the long haul. Anyway, go ace it and put the score there. All the best!

Put it on there. At least consulting firms are interested in any data point that shows that you are in possession of a brain, which you obviously are :)

BB sales?

anyway, i would recommend you just add a single score, like this GRE: 166 (98th Percentile)

no need to list the V/Q breakdown- if they ask, then answer otherwise it'll get a little bit too cluttered also, shooting you a PM

.

Scores on resumes are common in consulting and finance, less so in other industries. Just keep it compact in your 'education' section.

First off, congratulations on the great scores!

How this is viewed will be largely dependent on the industry. So for banking and consulting, it is more common and even welcome, especially at the analyst/associate level. F500 rotational program or non-profit? It could come off as pompous.

Well a job is better than no job. If you've been out of school for a year without a job, BIG RED FLAG! I would forget about IB for now and get into a financial analyst role somewhere.

@"Blueapple" Thanks! Do you really think it will come off as show-offish for certain roles? @"jojome" I am currently working in sales, and as I mentioned, I would settle with something less than ib, should I list my GRE for financial analyst jobs?
