yes, they are as strong as ever. All that Timberwolf CDO and "shitty deal" stuff is behind them.. all the corporate wrath was deflected towards BP and that gave GS time to recover their game. Plain and simple, look at the deals they are presently doing and you can see their relationships have not been affected much.

 

Assuming there are all for the same area, yes go with Goldman.
