I would change your "super elite" category to include the likes of AP, Patek, a Lange Sohne, etc.. A new category to include Rolex, Omega, IWC, Blancpain, Cartier, & some Breitling (I have a love hate relationship with them). I don't believe Tag would fit into this category. I love watches, but trying to rank them is just an exercise in futility, wear whatever watch you like. I own a few different higher end pieces and still wear my Seiko SKX007 every weekend.

Ranking by brand is kinda dumb. Iwc and Cartier both make way more complicated stuff than AP if you consider most people just have a royal oak without any complications. If you're ranking by brand tho vacheron>>>>>

I have 2 Fossil watches, does that count?

only if you wear both at the same time

one on each wrist

NYC time and London time ... you'll be very worldly

fitbit not required for entrance to heaven.

Tourneau is probably the most well known place here but it is wildly overpriced, so I wouldn't buy there without pricing things elsewhere first. I bought a used Cartier Roadster there and it came to 5k without the extra leather band and clasp. I ended up returning it since they hadn't even sent it to Cartier to be serviced before selling it.

I bought a replace Roadster from "Right Time" which is based in CO but has a great online selection. I called them and spoke with them and they were able to tell me the exact numbers for how well the watch kept time and the results of their testing on it. Also it was 3,600 total and did come with the extra leather band and clasp (which alone is around 1k to purchase after the fact).

I've not been into any stores in NY that weren't selling at a premium.
