Recruiting at UPenn

Rising sophomore at Penn here but not in Wharton.  On this forum most people seem to consider Non-Wharton Penn a "target," however the career reports seem to show significantly worse outcomes for econ majors compared to Wharton and other similar targets (less than 10 IB from over 100 econ majors). Some upperclassmen have also told me that recruiting is highly segregated between Wharton and the rest. Since you are competing among other students at your school for spots, does that mean I have no chance? Can any Penn/Wharton kids provide insight into recruiting from CAS?

Rising Junior at Penn here - there is absolutely no discrimination in OCR. I managed to secure a few offers and got a few looks and an offer for buyside as well - just need to make sure you more actively network and can answer why not Wharton.
