Maybe

"Additionally, I am also taking a course in VBA as I intend on implement ing the Black – Scholes – Merton model to gain a deeper understanding of how Options are priced with the limitation of constant volatility."

is too trivial to mention.

Should I make it more general by saying that I'm taking VBA courses to learn implementing Option Pricing strategies?

I assumed that a computer science student would know that you can still extract your name, address and all the other details that you blacked out, just by using copy/paste.

Yeah. However, I had my pdf ready so just did what was easier. That way I could keep the format of the letter. Plus I wanted to know if the addresses should be kept.

Also the comment is not helpful but point noted. Thanks :)

I agree - Keep it simple. I heard that statement twice today on the floor. If you think using distinct vocabulary will help you gain transaction, you're wrong. My VP would roll his eyes.

Keep it simple and straight forward.

Yeah I've made that change in the latest version of my cover letter. I'm just keeping it simple by saying I know how to implement macros in VBA. Is that okay?
