Sageview Capital Investment Analyst: would you skip banking to do this?

"As an Investment Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for sourcing investment opportunities at the firm. This will involve using various tools to identify attractive companies, reach out those companies to begin discussions with Sageview, and execute investment transactions. More specifically, the program will expose you to the full lifecycle of an investment. You can expect to gain hands-on experience in the following areas:

Deal sourcing
Meeting with management teams
Financial modeling
Due diligence
Deal structuring
Post-investment support

Throughout your time at Sageview, you will interact directly with the rest of the firm’s Investment and Administrative teams. Few opportunities at this early stage in your career will give you as much direct access to founders, entrepreneurs, and senior management at leading growth companies. We believe in giving our Analysts as much responsibility as they are willing and able to take on. We also have a culture of promoting from within and commit time and resources to developing our Analysts.

In addition to compensation listed below, the firm offers a significant performance based bonus.
Salary Level
80,000.00"

Hey newyorkermonkey, I swear if I had a silver banana for every lonely thread I posted too I'd be richer than @compbanker ...
