Salary of a BCG Management Consultant?

Just wondering... Anyone have any estimated all-in starting salaries of management consultants working at BCG (post-MBA)? What' about after 2-3 years all-in?

Also, dumb question but what is ''superday''?

Big three consulting firms pay around 130k immediately post MBA. Figure another 20-40k in performance bonus for a first-year. No idea what the signing bonus would be, I'd be conservative and guess 10k.

A superday is a day where you get invited to interview with multiple bankers in succession, after you already went through a first round.

Yeah, I can confirm the following of the US offices I got offers from:

McKinsey is $135k base, $20k signing, $8k transitional, $40k max bonus BCG is $140k base, $20k signing, $6k transitional and $42k max bonus.

Powerpoint JockeyDoes the mckinsey offer include the 12% of base retirement contribution?

Nope, good catch, I forgot about the retirement contributions.

manbearpig which one are you taking?

I was a summer at McK and got the offer to go back, which is why I know what the comp looks like. I got the offer for BCG for full-time and took it without looking back =) More to do with my cultural fit than compensation, I don't think there's an appreciable difference between the two.

Cool, congrats! Is consulting a means to an end for you, or are you aiming for partnership?

Do you care to elaborate on the difference in culture between the two firms and why BCG was a better fit for you? Thanks.

I don't have next year's compensation yet, but I can confirm that BCG is 5% of base+bonus into the profit sharing retirement plan for up to 9.1k. postMBA

red may be able to make a better comparison, but BCG's benefits shouldn't be overlooked. 100% of premium for the entire family isn't bad.
