Shoe Advice - Black Entry Level Shoes

Looking for some advice on black cap toes.

Would these be appropriate for in interview and/or FT position.
(lets focus on firms in LA / SF, but want feedback for NYC too)

mercanti fiorentini cap toe oxford (cant post links)

I have Cole Haan's (Caldwell) that I've never worn, mainly because I think they are too shiny.

I have considered trading the Caldwells in for Cole Haan Lenox Hill Cap Toe, but think the rubber sole is too casual for a workplace.

Any opinions are welcome, but I am not trying to break the bank.

Allen Edmonds Park Avenue or Fifth Ave (200-350 depending on sales) or Cole Haan (the ones you sited) for 100 at Nordstrom Rack

Ultimately depends on how much you are willing to drop. That being said, nobody notices really and noone is going to notice the difference between Allen Edmonds, Johnston & Murphy and Cole Haan from first glance. I actually have a pair of Ecco shoes that are insanely comfortable and have lasted me 3 or 4 years, upgrading to Allen Edmonds strand and Park Aves soon though
