Sophomore Looking to Break in

Hello all,

Long time lurker, first time poster on this site.

I am currently a sophomore at a non target in NYC. I have some extracurricular experience in banking and have networked a little, but have no formal experience to this point. I am currently looking to break into IB/AM or take anything I get. My GPA is slightly under average at this point (3.4) and with most bulge-brackets conducting their first rounds/already finished recruiting I am beginning to wonder what is left? I have been practicing the interview preps for IB, but not sure where to find some on AM but that being said, I would feel confident in an IB interview setting. Is a sophomore interview necessary in Asset Management?? Please help.
