Stern out of USNews Top 10, Darden in !!!
Not sure why this didn't happen earlier, but Stern definitely does not deserve to be in the Top 10.
USNews finally did the right thing and pushed them out of the Top 10.

Let the mudslinging begin! @"mbavsmfin" - Love the new dog avatar bruh, but nothing beats the Bradydog showing it's tongue.
Ok
why do I think MBAs are bullshit when we get quality posts like this?
MBA rankings are so retarded. HBS/Stanford at the top, followed by Wharton, and then CBS/Booth/Kellogg/Sloan are in the same category.
who cares
Glad to see Brady has a protege
I am trying hard to keep up man. I'm also a victimized Asian male. But I do have, let's say, a more formal WSO account where I try to be more sensible.
My biggest concern right now is me ending up in Stern a few years down the line.
Because then your life would be over. I hear the Stern grads mostly take jobs at McDonald's. And I'm talking drive-thru, not corporate.
-There can be only one Brady -The best part of the Brady was the worshipping of HBS, Chicago, being alpha, having game, etc. The bashing of NYU/Columbia/NYC in general was not as good.
Fixed that for you
As much as some like to hate on Stern as a result of its being directly comparable to a higher-ranked school, it is interesting because it is, more than most other schools, a tabula rasa. You have the NY location and you can make of it what you will. For those who are most voracious in networking, I'd imagine that Stern could yield better opportunities than even a higher-ranked school.
Although I agree that these rankings sole purpose is to generate buzz and ad revenue (which they clearly do) I think it is funny how narrow minded the people on this site are. Yes, if you are doing finance you would not choose Darden over Stern for location alone. But would you choose Darden over Stern for consulting, CorpDev, 100% for consulting and probably for CorDev as well. Now I agree if the title of this list was "2016 MBA Rankings for Finance" then this list would be very misguided.
hahaha
I'd personally rank them this way:
1/2. Stanford/Harvard 3. Wharton 4/5. Chicago-Booth/MIT-Sloan 6/7/8. Berkeley-Haas/Northwestern-Kellogg/Columbia 9. Dartmouth-Tuck
10-14. NYU-Stern/Michigan-Ross/Duke-Fuqua/Yale-SOM/Virginia-Darden 15 -17. Cornell-Johnson/UCLA-Anderson/Texas-McCombs

It is interesting that Haas finished ahead of Tuck and CBS given its sole focuses are tech and entrepreneurship.
Haas' strong stats are in large part due to their small size.
