succeed in your 1st ever interview

Hello everyone. I know people learn from their interview experience, identify problems and improve themselve in order to perform well next time. But I wonder how many of you succeeded directly in your 1st phone interview, then killed the superday and got offer? Is it realistic? Whether it's possible to succeed in such one shot?

My first interview was for an EB that recruited very early in the cycle and I landed that. I wasnt weird and I also never did anything close to what I hear about in the interview horror stories threads on here

Superdays are just as much the interviewer evaluating you as it is you evaluating yourself. If it’s difficult to have a conversation with a few people about finance, accounting, or the current market environment, then it’s probably not a good idea to jump into a job that requires these conversations on a daily basis, with millions of dollars on the line. That being said, you should come prepared and ready with technicals down, frankly because it is always good to know your head from your ass in any conversation, not just an interview.
