T. Rowe Price Fixed Income Associate Analyst Interview
I was selected for a first round interview for the T. Rowe Price Fixed Income Associate Analyst program, curious if anyone here has any insight into the role or what to expect for the interview process.
Thank you!
Are you coming from undergrad or industry lateral? I have interviewed a few times for the equity position but never seem to break through since my undergrad wasn't great and seems like that matters a lot.
First round is mostly behavioral. Tell me about yourself, why T Rowe. Did a stock pitch. Tell me about a time you thought outside the box. I think they will also always ask about recent books you have read. Asked me about MBA ambitions and CFA program. The interviewers also talked about the structure of the program and the day to day. Also asked if I would be willing to move to Baltimore and what do I know about the city. Lastly they did give comp details, said around 100k base and usually 30% bonus for the first year.
Industry lateral, my undergrad wasn't great either so I think my current role is what got me the interview. Thanks for the insight, I guess I should have a stock ready to pitch even though my background is in FI and the role is a FI role?
