Taking a VC internship in senior year of high school to improve my chances for entering PE?

Hi, I have recently been offered an internship in a VC fund and would like to know how much would it improve my chances at securing a PE/HF job out of college.

I am currently a high school senior from Poland and have been accepted to Harvard where I plan to do my undergrad.

The fund is one of the biggest of its kind in Central Europe. I would work part-time and the work I would be doing would be pretty meaningful (in that it would be actual work, not just something they would prepare for me as an intern).

I am asking because the internship is not paid and it would be harder for me to maintain my grades in school. However, that would be worth it if it meant it would meaningfully improve my chances at landing a PE/HF job or internship straight out of Harvard.
