What was the most stupid/ridiculous question you’ve been asked in an IB Interview?
They asked me how to get EBITDA if you have all three statements but only partly filled. After I had explained how you could get it, they said: you cannot get EBITDA. It’s not an accounting measurement.

How do you actually answer that, is it normal to research every company and formulate a specific answer or do you answer with the generic answer?

later, same interview - guy was an associate in natres coverage, i'm a business major applying as a generalist:
Q: "do you know what the different components of oil are?"
A: "um i haven't really taken chemistry since 10th grade"
