This firm...what do you know?

As some of you know, I got laid off this week. Out of the blue and quite ridiculous but its in the past now.

I networked a little and have been getting in touch with some people. My brother's brother-in-law is a principle at BCG and he provided me with some help. Through his contacts, I got an interview with this company called Expand Research. They're based in NY and are a subsidiary for BCG.

I've never heard of them before and I havent been able to get in touch with my contact so I was wondering if someone can help. I need to get back in the game but I dont want to rush out and take the first job that comes my way.

Does anyone know anything about this firm? Absolutely anything would be useful!

Thanks!

NikitaNSee if you can talk to your brother's brother-in-law. I am sure he will know something.

Yep, that was my point about the contact not being heard from yet. He is the contact.

No one knows the firm? Really could use the help. My contact is a little occupied at the moment seeing as he lives in NYC!

The firm is Expand Consulting, an apparent subsidiary of BCG but I've never heard of it. I dont wanna lose an opp because of a lack of name recognition of the firm.

What does it matter? You don't have a job... I'm sure if its under BCG its fine.

Just wanted to know I'm not wasting my time. I need a job but I dont want to be looking for another one in the next 6 months for example. Thanks for the post.
