Crash course? Not really. Far from what you'll be doing. Is it an excellent book nonetheless with tons of practical tips? Without a doubt.
Picked it up and am about half-way through it. The first few chapters lay out good time management skills, ways to source information from contacts, how to set-up your emails and notifications to be the most efficient in the research process, and how to phrase questions to management and industry contacts to get the most useful responses. Also hits on the best way to set-up your models. I'd recommend it.
