Top MFe, worth delaying trading offers?
Hi guys,
I currently am a rising applied math senior at a semi-target (think Northwestern, Vanderbilt, ...). I am currently an algo electronic trading intern at one of the top "agency only" S&T desks. I will most likely get a return offer and recently received an offer from a prop shop (think Akuna, Belvedere, ...). However, I have not applied to many shops yet. I was wondering if it would be worth it to go to an MFE program and try to postpone my start-date, perhaps even get sponsored for it (may be pushing my luck here). Mainly I was looking at the MIT MFin program because it is only 12 months (of course I have to get in, but the GRE/GMAT look simple). Any thoughts? I was pre-med till last semester (which made me apply really late to internships), so my finance background is not as strong as I would like.
Thanks!
