is there a big difference between typical hours worked at a Toronto US BB office versus the same level (analyst or other) down in NYC? I would imagine it is much less (60-65 hours for a Toronto office)??

Not speaking from experience, but i think it runs more of the 85-90 vs 95-100 no major differences
If you're not speaking from experience then don't post made up trash numbers...depends on the firm but you won't see much of a difference in terms of hours from NY (excluding some of the busiest down in NY). You wouldn't find a 60-65 hr work week though.

The hours are comparable to NY BBs for the most part. However, just like in NY, the hours will vary depending on what firm--and more importantly--what group you're with. Assume ~80 on average (like NY BBs). This comes directly from friends at various firms on Bay St.
what about the hours at the big 5 ?
