Trading @ Louis Dreyfus
I've come to understand that Louis Dreyfus is one of the best places to start trading. BB can be too much paper pushing, the quant prop shops too arcade/algorithmic. Louis Dreyfus gets their traders into the best opportunities to learn - think Confessions of a Stock Operator
Does anyone know what it's like working at Louis Dreyfus? Perspective from beginning to 10 years down the road? Do they have any quant desks?
Do you mean reminiscences of a stock operator?
Sure, but I don't think upside/bonuses are as high there.
If your referring to the energy group, they have had a number of traders leave within the past 6 months.
