UBC = good CDN recruitment now??

Talked to a friend that goes to UBC in Canada, and he said that UBC is getting quite a lot of their students into MBB and other good firms for consulting. Apparently, there is a program called SCMP (strategic consulting mentorship program) that helps them get these jobs.

-Anyone know how many jobs/success rate?
-How this compares to Ivey/Queens?
-Any more info about this program?
-Is it worth transferring/applying to UBC for this? (I'm from Canada)

Thanks

Thanks for the link. That's a pretty good track record of success considering how new the program is. I'm sure at this point the numbers aren't near some of the other Canadian schools though.

Thinking of potentially transferring to UBC from a CDN non-target.

Any other information on this program? How did the program do this year? (the linked website shows up until 2010)

Two UBC BCom students got into McKinsey this summer. Not sure if it was through SCMP.
