UBS vs Blackrock - which offer to take?
Offer from UBS FRC Sales and BlackRock Alternative Investments but conflicted which offer to take. Could someone please provide some guidance?

Why would you say BlackRock?
Way better in every aspect. (pay, exit ops, bschool, etc.)
What are the base pay ranges in each?
BlackRock, Dummy.
Would this be working with BlackRock long short credit or ls equity?
FRC might actually allow you to get more ground level experience on a certain asset class or product
Do you like macro and credit more or do you like AI/ fund of funds?
You can always learn a product and then focus on that in AI but that's harder to do in reverse
BlackRock AI doesn't have many product offerings for those of you who are quick to say BlackRock BlackRock lol
And lastly is this from right out of school for analyst roles?
It's for Real Estate Investment.
I would take UBS FRC. BlackRock is a better name, and it's buyside, but you really have to look at the specific role and group rather than drooling over the company name. BlackRock's alternatives platform isn't that interesting, in my opinion, and in particular I have like zero interest in real estate. I'm much more of a macro guy, so FRC would be pretty sweet. It's always good to learn specific products in-depth before deciding to do something else.
