I’m willing to bet $5 that you are an asocial Jew, approximately 5’7 or below, live in NY, single, and do not lift weights. Any takers?

Absolutely.. FUCKING RETARDED

Guess I’ll be voting team R in 2024. Yay American politics

I was so happy when Trump lost thinking this country could gain back some dignity but that glee has quickly dissipated throughout the year and I'm now at a point where I want Biden out of office as bad as I wanted Trump out. I could be wrong but given how close this last election was, if the Republicans actually have at least a halfway sane candidate (word is it will be DeSantis) then Dems won't stand a chance in the next election after this move and will stand even less of a chance if Biden starts pushing on gun control. All the moderates who only voted for him because they were sick of Trump will bail on him. Dems will be especially F'd if Biden doesn't run and it's Kamala, which I have a suspicion might happen.

I posted in 2019 or early 2020 that as a conservative I would be ok with Joe Biden (in fact, I was considering voting for him in the general early on) because Trump is awful and Biden is at least a moderate. But because he's basically senile, his army of advisors are running the show. They have run this administration so far to the left that they are making the Europeans blush. This is easily the most left-wing presidency in the history of the country, and we've had LBJ, FDR, and Wilson who were radicals in their own right.

I hate to break it to you my man, but no matter who is elected a country with a 42% adult obesity rate isn't a serious country and will never gain dignity. We have to start taking ourselves seriously before anyone else will. We're a country currently built on government checks, fast food, and medicare paying for knee surgeries for 400 lb Americans, idk if we really deserve to be taken seriously anyways.

Again, this has ZERO to do with COVID.  ZERO.  If I had ANY faith left in the Nine, I would be giggling right now at the Dementia in Chief.  Now?  I am really nervous about what is happening here now.  It is freaking frightening.  I used to think that he was just dumb.  It is now confirmed that he, and his ilk, are pure evil.  Pure unmitigated evil.

No way, lol. Almost everyone at the NYC/SF/LA offices are Dems and a few who vote R. Of those who vote R most do it for the sake of taxes and that's it. These banks aren't going to lose anything by axing a few conservatives when there are 10, 20, 100, maybe even 1000 ready in line to take your spot who have taken the vaccine. They have no incentive to try to change the structure of work to get around these rules.  I know it's not the greatest news, but we have to be honest with ourselves here.

Can’t wait to get VAXX III and VAXX IV! I’m hoping that eventually I can just have someone from the state health department who sits in my apartment and ‘jabs’ me at random intervals throughout the day.

Because with 75% of the country vaccinated we still

haven't achieved herd immunity and it’s also of very; very little risk to the vast majority of people. They can decide whether they want to constantly get a vaccine for something that doesn’t threaten their well being.

To anyone who supports this, if the supreme court doesn't stop this, I hope you realize this sets a horrifying legal precedent that effectively strips you of medical rights and privacy.

Also, I got the vaccine, I'm not a conspiracy theorist.

The god given right to give other people a disease with chronic health issues!  That's the most important one!

For the record, I am vaccinated by my own will, 100% believe in getting the vaccination, will get any future boosters, and think anyone who chooses not to is probably stupid.

With that being said, a vaccine mandate is absolutely unconstitutional, unacceptable, and authoritarian. Shame on Biden for doing this. If you want a vaccine mandate, move to communist China. This is America and people are free to make their own choices, even if those choices may be stupid.

Edit/addition: I was on the fence between Biden/Trump in 2020 so I did not vote. When Biden won I was relieved it wouldn't be Trump, but really I don't care for either of them. After the terrible leadership Biden has shown, I regret not voting. I would take Trump's clown bullshit any day over Biden's authoritarian bullshit.

Should people be free to kill others? Will you call government authoritarian if it prohibits murder?

If you don't vaccinate, you keep the virus circulating and mutating. It already became more contagious and deadly. If it mutates more, current vaccines can be less effective to it.

We live in a society. We are already not free. We are constrained by social rules and norms. You can't kill and rape. You have to behave responsibly, wear clothes, wear seatbelt and be sober while driving, etc. Is this all authoritarism or is it just a part of being a society?

Did you just compare not getting a vaccine to murder? LMAOOOOOO

That is perhaps the dumbest statement I've yet read on Covid and we are 18 months in. Congratulations. So many ridiculous statements in such a short comment. Wow. Where to begin?

1) The vaccine is free and abundant and works very well to prevent serious illness. If person A wants it he can get it. What Person B chooses to do is of no consequence to Person A. If Person C can't get the vaccine for some health reason, Person C can wear an N95 mask, social distance, or do both. In no case is Person B responsible for the death of Persons A or C. A and C have the tools to protect themselves if they choose.

2) You can still spread the virus when vaccinated and masked. Armed with this knowledge and your logic, if you leave your house for anything other than an emergency then you are committing murder.

3) Covid will mutate. That's not even up for debate. You actually think if you force 25% of 5% of the global population to vaccinate against their will that will prevent covid variants in the other 95% of the world? That is the absolute stupidest, most nonsensical reason to require covid vaccination.

Your poor grasp of logic and the Covid virus makes me actually think you are brainwashed into a religion.

I had to reread that again to make sure...

Say it with me, "Mutations of a virus are LESS deadly and more easily spread."

Say it with me,"Covid is endemic, like the cold or flu"

...and you know what?  Seat belt laws, bike helmet laws and the concept of the nanny state picking away at individual rights are all terrible ideas.

I CAN murder someone.  Society and laws enforce the punishment AFTER the fact, not before.

Well, if you truly believe what you wrote, then when the government comes to your house drags you out and tells you that another family is taking your house and it is all for the "Societal Good", I'll be laughing at you from the FEMA Camps.

...and before you cluck like a chicken,  I am very much pro-vax and am WAITING to see more data on existing jabs or the Novavax shot (which has tons of data) is finally allowed by the cabal in charge.

Imagine being so braindead that you cheer on a President completely ignoring the system of government in the US and ruling by decree. He's already gone around the Supreme Court once with that eviction moratorium crap. Not that I'm surprised it's Drumpfy celebrating, but the amount of support is disheartening. The clock is ticking on this country.

The supreme court ruled twice that states can mandate vaccines over a hundred years ago, so it's not that radical.  Of course, it's never been done on a nationwide level so we'll see what happens

Smallpox had a 20% fatality rate you ignorant toad. Covid's isn't even 1%. Also, the Supreme Court ruled over a hundred years ago that black people were property, does that mean it's correct? I swear you have to be trolling to be this stupid.

It’s amazing to me that people are smart enough to work in banking, and still somehow believe that vaccines are evil and the government is just doing it to track us.

News flash, you’re not that important to track. And since you’re glued to your phones, you can easily be tracked anyways.

People hate the left so much they are willing to believe anything lol.

It’s just sad. I have friends and family in the medical field and they just are disgusted trump made this a partisan issue.

You’re against vaccines? Seriously? This was never an issue when schools and the government mandated measles and chicken pox and flu vaccine. But because trump used it as a political point we now have to wait around while the pandemic drags out. Sigh.

You mention natural immunity, wtf are you talking about. Young people like us are probably going to be fine, we are trying to save old people, and people with weak immune systems and kids. Try not be selfish just once.

Natural immunity in exchange for brain fog, erectile dysfunction, fatigue, heart and lung problems and spreading a deadly disease.  650 thousand somehow isn’t enough dead people for these idiots.

They are SO dumb.
