People keep acting like Jefferies is a top mm because of their HC team but they don’t even pay 200k to first year analysts so how can they actually be a top bank by paying browns gibbons lang wages? They staff far too many analysts per deal and honestly are not a good bank at all. Jeff sucks
someone on another post said they've been getting an extra one-time payment that's being split over the course of a few months - is that still happening alongside the permanent pay raise?
I'm very satisfied with my bonus ngl. North of ~80k, although most 1st years in my group ranged from 60-75k. I don't think that this pay level will be sustainable for them though. How else are they supposed to keep up their business model (you know poaching seniors and overpaying them while most juniors work their ass off for pocket change). Not gonna complain this year, but after my $ clears I might start shopping myself around.
A little late to the party here, but I know summer 2021 CRE interns were at $25/hr and IB SA's were at 40, before they adjusted salaries upwards to 100k. So I'm guessing CRE A1 salaries are lower than 100k, maybe by 15-20k. CRE analyst's seem to have a pretty good WLB and culture though.
Kinda late to this forum, but can someone just kina tell the range of comp (broken out to base and cash bonus) for each each levell, (Analyst 1, 2, Associate 1, 2, Sr Assoc, AVP, VP, Director, ED, MD, ), how much base raise year over year, and bonus increase year over year, and if any other comp like other long-term pay, carries, and how these are paid out over how many years, how many vesting period, ect.Thanks.

Associates?
Why aren’t Associates and VP getting base raises? Pretty upsetting to be honest.
Is this confirmed?
Boohoo you’re 400k comp isn’t 410k lol

That’s already happened, think it was $20-25k for associates and $10-15k for analysts, somewhere in that range
thanks
Hasn't happened for the newly started 1st years… only the past 1st, now 2nd years.
Can confirm this...WF analyst bonus release was today. They were generous.
Any more info on this? Was this shared during your review or was there an announcement?
How generous is generous
I do not know the averages etc, but I do know that bottom bucket was 50k in LevFin hahahahahahah.
100k+ in some groups for AN2
how generous my g
extremely generous... surprised tbh
I heard some people were VERY happy.
Any talk of an associate salary increase?
do you think the high bonuses are due to covid or is wells going to pay better going forward?

Which group? I am in M&A and get 100%, don't know anyone got less than 80%.
DCM although it's fair to say that my sample size includes only 2 other analysts
Congrats that's a great bonus.
Jefferies finna lose a whole analyst class
Any knowledge of WF corporate banking is receiving the base raise?
CIB ASO are now 150, assuming IB ASO are 175
Any idea when this will be announced?
Any commentary at the AN level about the base increase across corporate banking?
You know this for a fact?
What is the new base for 1st year, 2nd and third year associate since they bumped up the pay in May? Are you still starting at 150?
any update on this? Still haven’t received any internal communication about a pay bump as a first year analyst/recent grad
Seems like just some internal chatter among the juniors. Hopefully there’s something concrete soon.
does the cmbs and balance sheet originations team get this bump as well?

CRE is now 85k for A1 and SAs making 40 an hour this summer
Did you ever get any updates on this?
Did the pay raise affect the S&T side as well?
Bump. Also curious about st
I thought WF was a commercial bank? Didn’t know they do IB, that’s cute

After the recent increase in base pay last month what is the new base for 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year analyst and associate?
Wondering if there was a raise at all because no formal email was sent! Just waiting to see how things will go in July!
