What car do you drive right now? What is your dream car?
Just thought it would be fun to see.
For me, my dream car is a Rolls Royce Wraith or Phantom, as classy and elegant as possible and either a Citreon GT or Bugatti Chiron.

Career Resources
Current Car: F10 2012 528xi. Practical, handles well in the snow, 4WD is nice. Decent hp and fuel efficient due to the straight four. However lacking performance wise.
Dream Car: E92 2012 M3. I love the style of all 2007-2013 BMWs, I think it is modern but still iconic. They were still making positive aesthetic changes, compared to idk what the fuck they're doing now. I always wanted an M series coupe, and one with a v8 sounds like a recipe for success. I want a high performance and fun car, but one that still functions well as a daily driver. This car checks all of my boxes, and a low mileage good condition version can be obtained for 30 - 35k. Lastly, from what I understand, these were the last M3s that really required driver skill to operate. With more modern cars, many manufacturers make them idiot proof, and even a novice can handle them with relative ease (Note: not the case will all cars, but see the 992 911 Carerra 4s for another example).
I love cars. In my free time I'm constantly learning more, but I still cant wrap my head around paying over 60- 80k for a car. I just think it would give me too much anxiety, and I'd constantly be worried about it. I can barely street park my current car without worrying.
M3s are nice, classy
I think a manual Porsche of some flavor is the most fun you can have with a car. Good value used too.
Currently drive a Chevy Cruze. Dream car, which I plan to get in a year or so, would be Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody pitch black. Crazy powerful and love the retro look.
After that I plan on getting a 1967-1969 Chevy Camaro or Pontiac Firebird. Always loved that style and they look so good in green, orange, and blue. Have always wanted a classic American muscle car.
Both these cars will be expensive but it’s such a big hobby of mine and I plan on them lasting my whole life by constantly maintaining them so I know it will be worth it.
Huge car guy here, have spent the last 6 years carless and walk to work (since I live 15 mins away). Will likely take the plunge on a 911 GT3 next year - am justifying it by the fact that I'm single and have a relatively low cost lifestyle, no debt, and a net worth that's decent for my age. Also on the list: Ferrari 430 Scuderia which are currently fantastic value at half the price of a 458 Speciale (but probably a little too raw to be an only car) and an LP560-2 Gallardo (rwd, manual, very rare). Attainable one day (like talking about the less than 300k range) dream car is probably a 675lt or something. I also love the Ford GT from the mid 2000s. Note that all of these cars will suffer minimal, if any, depreciation which helps justify it in my mind.
911 GT3 is my dream car as well. I think it’s fantastic value for money, but hard to justify $150k on a car. Although I don’t think they’d depreciate much, if at all.

whats the net worth
Cars, bikes, trucks are my hobbies - have driven a fair amount and currently have a few BMWs, Porsche and I am building an E46 M3 track car.
What I would like to build next is a more custom built car, like a twin turbo E30 V8 with custom chassis, suspension - goal 850+ WHP.
another item on the (long) to-do list would be an electric conversion, most likely Tesla Model S into something. But that is something where there isn't too much research (a few youtube channels but not that much more).
I don’t have a car and don’t think I will for a while. Maybe in a few years I think I’ll pick up an m series bmw. My dream car is the F12 TDF. It’s a work of art. My other dream car is a Boss 429. Can’t see myself getting either anytime soon, but that’s why they’re dream cars.

What do gear heads think about the upcoming 2021 Acura TLX Type S (it's been undiscontinued)? I really love my parents' 2017 Honda Accord so I'm thinking my dream car would be basically a high performance, luxury version of it (I'm not really sure how differently Honda builds TLXs compared to Accords).
Currently have a 2004 TSX, cant wait to see that.
Always wanted a jag f-type. It's a lot of car for relatively moderate price. Would probably try and buy a v8 RWD variant used and have the savings go towards some interior/exterior aesthetic work
Lots of car threads lately, but can't complain.
