What transactions are useful?

Hey there monkeys Just wonderig what transactions are useful for PE recruiting, specifically in the UK. Obviously M&A is the way forward, but is it helpful to recruit if you have a couple of equity or debt raising transactions ? I have one M&A deal and 2 capital markets (not ECM side). Is this useful?

DCM would be more relevant for PE IMO than equity b/c leveraged finance modeling is incorporated in LBO modeling, with the difference being testing returns and a larger variety of cases (base, upside, downside) vs. base and downside (concerned with risk in DCM, not upside).

Either way, it is relevant, but it depends on the dynamics of the DCM deals. Leveraged ones are much more important IMO than traditional corporate offerings.

DCM is investment grade. LevFin would be relevant for PE
