FTIL being forced to merge with their subsidiary NSEL was pretty interesting.... NSEL was fraudulent and became insolvent, so FTIL was forced to merge with it to cover it's liabilities.
GSK's 3 way asset swap with Novartis was pretty cool too.
Agrochemicals consolidation is pretty hectic too atm also...

I've got an interview coming up for a position in the M&A department of company and wanted to familiarize myself with what's happening in the industry as a whole. I've read up on recent deals with companies like Netflix, but would appreciate additional insight from someone who keeps up with the industry.
