What's the reputation of Cantor Fitzgerald?

I am interested in learning about the reputation and prestige of Cantor Fitzgerald/BGC in the finance world. I know that they are relatively new to investment banking, but how are they viewed? Who are their "peers"? Any other insight about the reputation or working there would be appreciated. Thanks!

I dealt with a brokers broker who operated through BCG (Cantor’s holding company) for a while, and he told me it was pretty toxic. Also I heard they have some fucked up system for bonuses, where you get stock but you have to stay for a long time for the shares to actually vest or they’re worth zilch if you leave. If you have no opportunities, I’d consider them but otherwise stay far away. Just what I’ve heard from others.
