From what it looks like, CFA offers the Access Scholarship and the Awareness Scholarship.

Access Scholarship: Awarded to those who may not be able to afford the registration and program enrollment costs. Evaluated on a financial-need basis.

Awareness Scholarships: Awarded to college students, women, employees of regulatory agencies, and media organization employees. Seeing as you're a second-year analyst, I'm assuming you don't fall into any of those categories.

Both require an essay. You can also consider asking your employer.

Good luck!

you haven't heard of employers paying for the CFA? I mean... WHAT?

OP: Ask your boss. Many finance firms pay for this or any other exams and even give you study leave (5 days a year or so) to do it/take the exam. Most firms will offer some level of support with these qualifications. It is at your manager's discretion ultimately so if you don't ask you don't get.
