Where to find paid internships freshmen summers
Hi m8s and lads.
Again its sadman6969 back at it seeking wso help. Today tho. I need help on how to I GET myself a paid internship for freshmen summer. I am a freshman at a target(ross, gtown, stern, Cornell). I am a diversity candidate with 3.6. I truly don't know where to look for paid internships. Any suggestions would be suggested m8s please bless me with your great knowledge mates.

You don't look anywhere as programs virtually don't exist. You have to network for them and convince someone to take you on.
As a freshman, you really don't need an internship. Have fun this summer or just work a standard job.
But If you really want an internship, you'll have to think outside the box. Most large firms hire juniors for their internships with the hope to get them to sign full time with that firm after graduation. So as a freshman, reach out to small boutique firms and start ups and see what they have to offer.
Edit: Just saw you're a diversity candidate. Might want to look into MLT for future opportunities. Don't know when the deadline is to apply for that, but definitely be on the lookout.
I second this. Do networking at small places that don't have standard programs. Work your school's alumni network.
