I definitely knew analysts who started getting involved romantically with each other. This was actually fairly common among summer analysts and less so among full time analysts. Personally, I wouldn't do it, but if you absolutely must, I don't think it should be a problem as long as both of you are mature and professional about it.

That means don't get any ideas while you are at the office. Also, if there is anything that happens outside of the office (e.g. you two get into a fight, etc.), make sure that everything on the surface appears normal. Don't bring anything into the office that could potentially disrupt the atmosphere of the workplace.

Agree with those above. I would try to avoid it if at all possible.

I routinely gave my boss the D my second year. I was very lucky because it worked well and ended quietly; however, it could have very easily been disasterous for both of us.

I dated a co-worker. 12 years later, she's my wife.

ie this can only end in unhappiness

Those who can, do. Those who can't, post threads about how to do it on WSO.

It's OK. I bet you two are pretty smart and sensible to not let it spoil anything. And what else can you do? Breakup? Turn down the offer? This makes no sense.

Don't shit where you eat. If you do, you need to go full retard:

  • Bang her in the office bathroom.

  • Bang her in the CEO and Partners' offices.

  • And of course, bang her under your desk.
