Work at 2nd tier European banks in London (Credit Agricole, Deutsche Hypo, Commerzbank, PFF, etc)
I have heard that apparently the working culture in not so top tier European banks is better than it is at the American ones. You might not get the biggest bonuses but you also don't spend weekends in the office. Can anyone confirm this?
What I'm specifically wondering what work is like in the leveraged finance/infrastructure finance/project finance teams of slightly 2nd tier banks such as Deutsche Hypo, Credit Agricole, Commerzbank, etc? Is the pay far worse than it is in American banks or is it still decent? Working culture/hours?
