Work on deal team at a MM PE firm or work my way up at a larger bank?

Currently employed by largely unknown MM PE firm on the portfolio management side and weighing my options: A) transition into our deal team (dept. director has agreed to phase me in if I want) B) or take up an offer to work abroad at a much larger bank with no guaranty of what my function will actually be (but probably not IB)

Three data points:

  • This is my first job out of college
  • Studied at a non-target school
  • Work is very broad but primarily w/ energy, CRE and structured products at my current firm

All other things the same, which experience do you think would add the most to my career if I wanna work my way up into a larger company's deal team?

All input is welcome, thanks!
