Time is a very valuable commodity to waste in the world of high finance. The perfect knot comes from a clip-on tie, but if caught with one you may or may not be laughed out of the building. Why would you ever do that? No male above the age of 5 should wear a clip on, and they should only do it because a real tie would be a strangling hazard.
Had to wear one when I worked at a grocery store. Even when I said I preferred to just get a black tie and tie it myself.
I know this is a troll but in case anyone doesn't know - the difference is in how your collar looks with a tie underneath it.
