I received an Online Hirevue after applying on Jan 1st and received an invite for a superday one month later. This consisted of three interviews that were each 20min. These were conducted by VP+ seniors across different teams.

Tips - my understanding is at least one of your interviewers needs to vouch for you in selection committee, unless you've been sought after internally by a specific team. The mentality shouldn't be just to get a passing grade in every one but to have at least one standout interview.
Interview Questions
"How would you invest $1m today across any combination of asset classes and why?"

Interview
My interview process with Goldman was relatively average process. All great people. The first-round interview was a hirevue which is awkward, I suggest practicing on your webcam because your essentially talking to your self while answering the questions. The next round interview was with multiple team members via zoom. This consisted of mostly behavioral questions, I was very surprised I did not get more technical questions but once I got to Goldman I understood that they believe that if they get the right fit and the right culture, they can train anyone to do any task which is a huge part of their One Goldman Sachs philosophy. You should bring up the One Goldman Sachs style culture in the interview because the firms culture really is better than most bulge bracket banks and they pride themselves on that environment. I was asked some technical questions of debt paydown/amortization tables. This was for trading analytics so the range of questions were more on the debt side of the equation. After the "superday" style interview with multiple team members, I waited probably a month before I heard back, I had honestly written off the opportunity because I thought I didn't get it. However, since the start date was further out I guess they didnt need to rush. I interned with the team and then got a full-time off but I did decline because I wanted to work in Investment Banking instead of Trade Analytics. The team was excellent, and the culture at Goldman is great. I do recommend the firm to anyone who asks.

The process was lengthy with 7+ steps. It included 2 technical interviews (including a case study), 4+ mid-level behavioral interviews, and 2 senior level behavioral interviews. The firm was very thorough, and did not skip any part of their diligence on you as a candidate. Every stone gets turned over, and expect the most detailed background check of your life. I’ve had friend work at the FBI with less thorough security clearance screening.

I applied through Goldman's standard online application, but the key thing for me was attending the "Explore Goldman Sachs" event. After that event, our applications were moved straight to the first round, which was a HireVue (recorded video interview).
After completing the HireVue, I heard back about two months later with a Superday invitation. I was considered for two groups, Wealth Strategies and the National Tax group. The Superdays were almost entirely behavioral. The only technical question I got was one about insurance, which made sense given the group I was interviewing for, and I felt I answered it well. One of the Superdays was two interviewers to one candidate, and the other was one on one. I ultimately received an offer from Wealth Strategies.
