Acadian Asset Management Reputation
I have heard of the firm Acadian Asset Management. It appart is a quant asset manager that manages close to $100B. I am wondering is this place known and how is it's reputation? What other firms have similar prestige as this firm or similar research.
I assume it is not on the level as AQR, or is it?
What is the reputation of this place in the industry. From Glassdoor it looks like a good place to work, but pay doesn't seem too high--i am not looking to work there.
Acadian has a good reputation. I'm not sure how much I would trust the glassdoor reviews. I would assume that people who are getting paid a lot are not reporting their numbers there as it would be easy to find out who it is.
Why do I find so little about it online? What other funds can they be compared to.
Different firms have different levels of transparency. You could compare them to PanAgora, AQR (though AQR is larger), GSAM QIS, QMA, BlackRock systematic group.
