AM Operations Hours - Accountant

Hello all,

I've recently accepted a position as a staff accountant for a small/midsize asset management firm in the Midwest. I will be reporting to the director of operations, as this is a smaller firm. 

I have seen threads discussing hours and pace of other back office/operations roles, but none that match the criteria of operations in an asset management environment. I would like to get feedback on any experience you all may have with regards to the hours in the operations & accounting department of such a firm.
