Anyone work as Results Analyst/Performance Analyst at a top firm? Do you like it?

For those that work as a Results/Performance analyst, how is it? I'm interviewing for a top global manager firm for a a similar entry level role (attribution analysis, portfolio analytics, calculations etc..), and wanted some insight on it. What are the exit opps for someone who is interested in research/portfolio management? Any general information and advice is appreciated!

Edit: not sure why Portfolio management is linking to amazon, I did not do that lol
