Anyone works for family offices/endowments in Boston?

My profile might be a bit different than most here as I actually have 12 years of experience in the industry but am looking for a transition.

I am currently in an institutional PM/Client PM/Investment Director type role at an asset management firm (not Portfolio Manager, more client facing) . I started as a FICC quant research analyst in a sell-side bank and then became a macro strategist before joining my current firm on cross-asset strategies. I am currently exploring different tracks. I want to do more strategic asset allocation and manager research/due diligence so that seems to call for firms with a multi-manager structure - endowment and some family offices. Plus, working for a cause or working for real families seem to resonate more with me personally.

I've stayed in the typical sell-side bank to buy-side AM track and do not have a lot connections in endowment or family offices. I've also learned that their hiring tends to be very network-based and that's why I'm turning to the WSO community and see if I could connect with someone to learn more.

Alternative, if any of you know good recruiters in these spaces, please kindly share or PM me.

I believe in the power of giving. While I am here looking for some help, I am more than happy to answer any questions in case anyone is interested in learning more about institutional PM/Client PM/Investment director type role in AM.

Thank you!
